Account

  • How do I update my account details?
    • Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Chopra App, then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Chopra App. From there, you are able to update your name, email address, and password, as well as a variety of other options. Please note, if you are using the same email address for your Chopra App, Chopra.com, and ChopraMeditation.com accounts, updating your account information here will also update it on those accounts as well (and vice versa).

  • Can I connect my account with another login options, such as Facebook, Google, or Apple?
    • At this time, you cannot connect your account via any other shared login options.

  • How can I unsubscribe from email communications?
    • You may unsubscribe from email communications by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the footer of any Chopra App email communication you receive. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to our support team at support@chopra.com.

  • Can I pause my subscription?
    • This feature is not supported in the iTunes App Store or via Chopra.com. If you would like to cancel your subscription so it does not automatically renew at the end of your subscription cycle:
      • If you purchased your subscription via iTunes, please reach out to the App Store.
      • If you purchased your subscription on Chopra.com, contact our support team at support@chopra.com
    • How do I cancel my subscription?
      • If you purchased your subscription via iTunes, please reach out to the App Store.
      • If you purchased your subscription on Chopra.com, contact our support team at support@chopra.com.
    • How do I update my payment information online?
      • If you purchased your subscription via iTunes, you must update your payment method via the App Store.
      • If you purchased your subscription via Chopra.com, please reach out to our support team at support@chopra.com, and we will make the adjustment for you.
    • What payment methods do you accept?
      • All payment methods currently supported by the iTunes app store, as well as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express on Chopra.com. Chopra Program Vouchers cannot be used toward Chopra App subscriptions.
    • How do I request a refund?
      • If you purchased your subscription via iTunes, all refunds are processed exclusively via the App Store. Please reach out to the App Store for any refund questions.
      • If you purchased your subscription via Chopra.com, you may receive a full refund for your first annual subscription within 30 days after your charge was processed. After 30 days, your subscription is non-refundable. Subscription renewals are non-refundable. If you have already received a refund for a subscription, any future subscription purchases are also non-refundable. To request a refund for a subscription purchased on Chopra.com, please click support@chopra.com to submit your request.
      • How do I deactivate my account?
        • After you have cancelled your subscription by reaching out to the App Store if you purchased via iTunes, or our support team if you subscribed via Chopra.com, your account is deactivated unless you choose to resubscribe in the future. You may choose to delete the Chopra App from your device once you have cancelled your subscription as well.
      • How do I delete my account?
        • In order to delete your Chopra account, please reach out to our support team at support@chopra.com. Be aware that by deleting your Chopra account, you are consenting to the deletion of your login and account on Chopra.com, ChopraMeditation.com, all Chopra apps and websites, and that any owned digital products, courses, meditations, albums, and streams will also be deleted and your purchases cannot be restored should you change your mind at a later date.
      • Can I zoom or increase text size on the app?

      Chopra App Content

      • What is the difference between a free account and a paid subscription account?
        • Our free account offers a limited version of the Chopra App experience, while the paid subscription offers complete access to all Chopra App content.
      • What content does the free experience offer?
        • Our free version offers access to a limited and rotating selection of nearly 500 Chopra meditations, as well as access to any owned 21 Day Meditation Experience albums you have in your account.
      • What additional content can I access with a paid subscription?
        • With a paid subscription, you will have full unlimited access to the expansive catalog of meditations, and other brand-new content and experiences we offer on the Chopra App, which is constantly growing and changing.
      • What do the labels “Single”, “Program”, and “Collection” mean?
        • All of the meditations in the Chopra App are tagged with one of these three labels that indicate the type of meditation you are selecting.
          • “Single”: This is a stand-alone meditation, ready to be enjoyed any time for any reason.
          • “Program”: This is a group of meditations meant to be listened to in order, like chapters in a book or an online course. These teachings are sequential and build on the insights of the days before.
          • “Collection”: These are groups of meditations that are all complementary to the category selected, such as “Expand Your Awareness” or “Letting Go”. All of the meditations in these collections will be suited to the topic, but can be enjoyed in any order, depending on which meditation most resonates with you at any time.
      • Do I need to pay for a Chopra App subscription to access my Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience purchases?
      • How much does a Chopra App subscription cost?
        • An annual subscription to the Chopra app costs $69.99 US dollars (only about 19 cents per day!), and automatically renews annually on the anniversary of your subscription date. If you are purchasing outside of the US, this price is subject to your country's exchange rate and taxes, as well as the App store policies. Your price will display in your local currency at checkout.
      • Do you offer any other types of subscription?
        • We currently offer only an annual subscription for full access to the Chopra App.
      • Can I purchase a subscription as a gift for a loved one?
        • At this time, we are unable to offer gift purchases of the Chopra App.
      • Is there an Android Chopra App?
        • We are currently offering the Chopra App on Apple devices only.
      • How much storage will the Chopra App take on my device?
      • What version of iOS do I need to support the Chopra App?
        • The Chopra app is supported on iOS versions 13.0 and up.
      • Can I connect my Chopra App account with Apple Health?
        • Yes, you certainly can. Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Chopra App, then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Chopra App. From there, select “Apple Health”, then select “Enable”. Follow the prompts, or select “Show Me How”. You can also manage your permissions via your device’s settings.
      • How do I enable/disable Chopra App notifications?
        • Select “Profile” on the bottom right corner of your Chopra App, then visit “Account Settings” by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Chopra App. From there, select “Push Notifications”, and you may switch the toggle on or off. You can also manage your permissions via your device’s settings.
      • Can I download meditations for offline listening?
        • Meditations are able to be enjoyed within the Chopra App during online use only at this time, and cannot be downloaded.
      • How can I get assistance with a PDF or other downloadable file?
        • If you are experiencing difficulty with any downloadable files, please reach out to our support team at support@chopra.com.

      Dosha Quiz and "For You" Content

      • Where can I take the Dosha Quiz?
        • When in the application, tap “For You” on the bottom bar. This will bring you to the Dosha quiz.
      • How Long is the Dosha Quiz?
        • The Dosha quiz consists of 10 questions that may take you anywhere from two to five minutes (don’t worry, timing isn’t a factor).
      • If I back out of the quiz or close the app will my progress be saved?
        • No, your progress will not be saved, and you will have to restart from the beginning.
      • I have finished the quiz, and received my results, but I want to take the quiz again.
        • Once you have finished the quiz and received your result you will not be able to take the quiz again. Your results are linked to your profile so your “For You” content will continue to be updated based on your results.
      • I completed the quiz and got my results. Where do I go next?
        • After completing the quiz, you will be given a break down of your Dosha based on your answers. At the bottom of the breakdown is the “Recommended Content” button that will bring you to the “For You” section of the app where you can access meditations and programs that have been curated for your dosha. Although the Dosha summary is free for all users, all curated Dosha meditations and programs are available to active Chopra App subscribers only.
      • Am I able to go back to the breakdown of my Dosha?
        • Yes, at the top of the “For You” section it will show your dosha, and right below that will be a line of text that reads “Read Your Dosha Results.” Tapping on this text will bring you to your results.
      • Can I access content for other Doshas?
        • No, after getting your results your “For You” page will remain specific to your dosha, receiving updates with content relevant to your dosha. Since results are linked to your profile, you will not be able to access other content specific to other doshas.

      Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience: iPhone/iOS App Closing and Album Access

      • What is happening to the iPhone/iOS 21-Day Meditation App?
        • We are closing the 21-Day iPhone/iOS app. Starting November 20th, 2020 the iOS 21-Day app will no longer be supported technically and the servers will be shut down. After November 20th, 2020 you will be unable to log into or access the content on the iOS 21-Day Meditation App.
      • Why is the iOS 21-Day Meditation App going away?
        • We are always evolving in our mission to make well-being accessible to the global community. Part of that means introducing new offerings and occasionally saying goodbye to others. While you may miss the iPhone 21-Day app, we are excited for you to enjoy our new Chopra Meditation & Well-Being App for iPhone.
      • What if I want to keep using the old iPhone/iOS 21-Day Meditation App?
        • Once we shut down the technology, you will be unable to log into or access the content on the iPhone/iOS 21-Day Meditation App and we will no longer provide Customer Service or technological support.
      • What happens to my purchases?
      • Do I need to pay for a Chopra App subscription to access my Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience purchases?
        • No, all of your owned albums from the Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience can be accessed on the homescreen of your new Chopra iPhone App library free of charge, and also can still be accessed via your account at ChopraMeditation.com.
      • How do I access my albums that I own from a Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience purchase on the new Chopra iPhone App?
        • To access any streaming products you own from a purchase made from the Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience, select “Home” on the bottom left of your Chopra App, then scroll to the bottom. Select the section titled “Past Purchases”, and your Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums will be available there for your use.
      • What if I don’t have an iPhone with iOS 13 on it?
        • At this time our new app only supports iPhones operating on iOS 13 or higher. If you can, please update your system software to use the new App. If you are unable, please continue to access your purchases on ChopraMeditation.com, which is a mobile-friendly site.
      • What if I have Android?
        • The 21-Day Meditation App for Android is not affected by this iOS app change. You can continue to use it as you are using it currently. Please please sign up here to be notified when we release our new Android app soon.
      • Can I download my Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience meditations for offline listening from the new Chopra App?
        • Meditations can be enjoyed within the Chopra App during online use only at this time, and cannot be downloaded.
      • Can I buy more Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums via the new Chopra App?
        • We are not selling Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums on the new Chopra App; however you may still purchase Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums from ChopraMeditation.com. If you do purchase any new Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience streaming products, they will sync to your new Chopra App account, and can be accessed by selecting “Home” on the bottom center of your Chopra App, then scroll to the bottom. Select the section titled “Past Purchases”, and your Chopra 21-Day Meditation Experience albums will be available there for your use.
