Deepak and Gabrielle Bernstein will lead a conversation around meditation and compassion with Ismael Cala, followed by a 15-minute guided meditation led by Deepak, videos and questions contributed from the global audience, and musical performances.

Creating a More Compassionate World

This year’s Global Mediation will focus on Compassion—compassion is the most radical idea and necessary movement of our time. In a world that is increasingly stressed, crowded, and overburdened by stories of injustice and violence, we have become skeptical and desensitized to the suffering of others. The result of living in this way is continued isolation, a me-first attitude, and rising discrepancies between the have’s and have not’s.

It’s time to rediscover our common truth—that we are all one.

Through renewed empathy and love for all beings, we can turn around the rising tide of disconnection and reconnect to what truly matters.
