What is Renewal Weekend?
Renewal Weekend is an ideal starting point for individuals who want to begin their personal exploration of meditation and mind-body medicine but aren't sure where to begin. This expansive weekend introduces you to The Chopra Center co-founders, Deepak Chopra and David Simon, and lead educator, davidji, as they share many of the timeless teachings of The Chopra Center for Wellbeing. At Renewal Weekend you will finally learn to meditate, calm your mind, and practice other time-proven tools to help you access present-moment awareness.

What happens at Renewal Weekend?
This two-and-a-half day workshop and weekend getaway begins on Friday morning with instruction in the ancient practice of Primordial Sound Meditation led by The Chopra Center's lead educator, davidji. Then you will be taught your personal mantra in a special session with a Chopra Center certified meditation teacher (check-in is at 6pm on Friday if you have already received your mantra). This will be the cornerstone of your weekend experience.
Throughout Renewal Weekend, the co-founders of The Chopra Center - Deepak Chopra and David Simon - guide you in a mind-body experience that is your gateway to balance, healing, and transformation. Topics includes natural health, nutrition, life choices, emotional healing, Ayurveda, and daily balance.
At Renewal Weekend, you will be introduced to the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, a unique form of hatha yoga that blends the yogic traditions of India with the principles of the best-selling book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga. The weekend also includes morning and evening group meditations. You will return home feeling renewed and rested, equipped with tools and techniques you can use in your daily life for greater health and balance.
Will I receive Meditation Instruction?
All attendees will receive personal instruction in Primordial Sound Meditation, which is included in the cost of tuition (the regular price to learn Primordial Sound Meditation is $375/person).
