More than 15 years ago during his neonatal fellowship, Dr. Jones was working with HIV infected infants. At that time, neonatology and HIV care were on the frontier of medical science. The limitations of medical care challenged him to seek an expanded model of medicine, one where caregivers show up fully even when scientific medical advances fall short. Dr. Jones has researched and experienced many complementary medical therapies, and continues to expand his understanding of the spiritual, cultural, and ethical complexities of practicing medicine. Jamieson Jones is the co-author of Enlightened Healer, Enlightened Healthcare.
