Perfect Health Teacher Training
The Perfect Health course offers a five-step exploration of mind body medicine and Ayurveda. The course is designed for the general public who have had little or no previous understanding of these concepts. Each of the five lessons includes instruction in practical approaches of mind body medicine that participants can begin using in their daily lives.
Certified teachers will be able to facilitate this beautifully designed five lesson process that sequentially leads people through the theory and practical application of mind body medicine and Ayurveda. As a certified instructor your relationship to the Chopra Center will be that of an independent contractor. You will be able to set up, market and teach courses in a manner and frequency that suits your schedule (subject to a few basic guidelines). While several instructors have been successful in teaching on a regular basis, we do not view this as training for a new vocation. We will provide ongoing support including marketing, suggestions, some advertising and access to our international referral service.

Perfect Health Teacher Certification Process
Prerequisites:
To qualify for the Perfect Health Instructor Certification course, the following prerequisites must be completed:
- Regular practice (twice daily) of Primordial Sound Meditation learned in your community or at a Chopra Center event.
- Completion of the Journey into Healing seminar, as a participant.
- Completion of the Seduction of Spirit seminar, as a participant.
- Completion of the Perfect Health Home Study course.
The Home Study course can be applied for and ordered once the Journey into Healing seminar is completed. - Passing the at home, online exams with a score of 85% or better. The exams must be completed 30 days before the start of the Teacher’s Training course.
- Participating in a minimum of two Teleconference calls by phone or web.
- Signing and submitting the Teacher's Path Agreement form and Enrollment agreement form.
The Perfect Health Certification Program is divided into two parts:
Part 1: The Home Study course
After completing the Journey into Healing seminar, you are eligible to apply for and purchase the Perfect Health Home Study course. Applications are individually reviewed and must be completed prior to receiving the kit. You will be notified when you are approved for the program.
The Home Study course consists of Perfect Health Instructor Manual, The Perfect Health book, 8 video lessons, the Perfect Health student workbook, The Wisdom of Healing book, the Access to Health textbook, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga book, the Nonviolent Communication book, and a Sanskrit terminology CD. In addition, you will receive a binder containing essential material presented at the Journey into Healing and Seduction of Spirit seminars. This material will be the source of some of the questions on your open-book exam.
After studying the material at home (estimated time of concentrated study is 85+ hours), you will be asked to complete a written examination that tests your competence in the basic principles and practices of health, mind-body medicine, and Ayurveda. Successful completion of the Home Study course and demonstrated competence on the examination (a passing grade of 85% or better) will qualify you to attend the Certification course. If you do not pass the exam, you may retake it and need to receive a grade of 90% or higher to pass. If you do not pass the exam the second time, you are required to wait six months before re-taking it again and attending the certification course at a later date.
Part 2: The 7-Day Teachers Training Course
This component of the training program will provide intense instruction, practice and evaluation of speaking and teaching skills to ensure command of the course information. During the Teacher's Training course, qualified participants will develop expertise in facilitating the five-lesson Perfect Health course. Each participant will gain competence in determining mind body constitutions, teaching mindfulness meditation, Ayurvedic daily routines, Ayurvedic nutrition, gentle energy-opening yoga postures, accessing inner pharmacy, and the tools to both teach and obtain emotional freedom.
Each student will undergo a series of testing and a final examination, both oral and written, and must obtain a passing grade of 85% or better.
Upon completion of the program, you will be qualified to teach the Perfect Health course in your community. You will become part of our worldwide network of educators and receive marketing support.

Continuing Education
In order to retain your certification, you are required to attend the Journey into Healing seminar once every 24 months. For those located outside North America, you are required to participate in a comprehensive series of interactive teleconferences.

Teacher's Path FAQ
The Perfect Health Teacher’s Path includes prerequisites, a home study course, pre-testing, the certification course, and continuing education.
What are the prerequisites before attending the Certification course?
- Passing the closed book, online Sanskrit Terminology exam with a score of 85% or better. The exam must be completed 30 days before the start of the Teacher's Training course.
- Regular practice (twice daily) of Primordial Sound Meditation, learned in your community or at a Chopra Center event.
- Completion of the Seduction of Spirit seminar, as a participant.
- Regular practice of the Sutra Program learned at the Seduction of Spirit seminar.
- Completion of the Journey into Healing seminar, as a participant.
- Completion of the Perfect Health Home Study course.
- Passing the open book exam with a score of 85% or better. The exam must be completed 30 days before the start of the Teacher's Training course.
- Participating in a minimum of 2 Teachers' Path Teleconference calls.
- Completion of a telephone interview with Chopra Center staff.
- Signing and submitting the Educator's Agreement.
When will I receive the Home Study Kit?
The Home Study course can be applied for once Journey into Healingis completed as part of your certification enrollment process. An application must be completed and submitted prior to receiving the home study kit. For Perfect Health students, the home study kit will be shipped upon completion of Journey into Healing.
How long will it take to become certified?
All participants will have 18 months to complete the program after receiving the Perfect Health Home Study Kit.
What happens at the 7-Day Teacher Training Course?

What does it mean to be a Certified Chopra Center Instructor?
As a Chopra Center certified instructor you are an independent contractor. There are suggested prices for your classes and you are required to provide your students with teaching materials purchased from the Chopra Center.
What kind of support will The Chopra Center provide?
The Chopra Center will provide a representative to assist you during your certification process and after you become certified. The Chopra Center will also provide marketing materials and support you in promoting your classes in addition to listing you on the instructor referral pages on our website.
Are any discounts available to me once I am a Certified Instructor?
Yes. You will receive 40-65% discounts on Programs and discounts on retail products, spa treatments, etc. Also, our certified instructors receive commissions for referring their students for enrollment in Chopra Center Programs as well as an assigned representative to assist them with this process.
